Presentation of Flower Pots and Plants

LCIH carried out a presentation of flower pots and plants at the former school of President Emily Kong, SMK Seri Intan. It also happen to be her final project as President of LCIH for 2017/18.

There to support her were 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua, Club Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip, Leong Chyi Liang, N. Rathakrishnan and P. Velupillai.

Donation of Flower Pots and Plants

President Emily Kong, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip and P. Velupillai visited the SJK (C) Chung Tack Simee in Ipoh and donated flower pots and plants to the school.

37th Anniversary of Leo Club of Idris Shah

The Leo Club of Idris Shah celebrated their 37th Anniversary. It was a grand occasion witness by more than 100 Lions and Leos.

The Lions present were President Emily Kong, Leo Club of Idris Shah Leo Advisors PP T. Sriskanda and Lean Siang Kai, 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Club Communication Chairperson V. Sreedaran Nair, Eugene Ong, Wilson Wong, P. Velupillai and Khairol Izam.

Hari Raya Celebration

LCIH celebrated Hari Raya with the children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Nurul Iman, Manjoi.

Fight Against Cancer Everyday

LCIH joined the members of the Leo Club of Anderson to visit the children at Pediatric Cancer Ward, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh.

Dialogue on Leo Matters

LCIH Leo advisors held a dialogue with cabinet officers together with the 1st Vice District Governor on ways and means to improve the Leos under the watch of LCIH.

Leo Clubs Charter Day

The big day came. The District Governor District 308 B2 was there. The 1st Vice District Governor and 2nd Vice District Governor were also in attendance. 

With all the top three cabinet officers present the Leos were indeed privilleged on this historic occasion.

This is the 156 project and activity for this term. Already a record for LCIH.

Charter Day Final Meeting

Charter day final meeting at Main Convent Hall, SMK Main Convent Ipoh.

The incoming Leos from Methodist Girls' School and Main Convent Ipoh had a meeting cum rehearsal with the members of the Lions Club of Ipoh Host.

Presentation of cheque to MGS

LCIH donated RM1,000.00 to MGS PIBG to support their Charity Band Dinner on 28th April, 2018.

On hand to receive the cheque was the Principle Madam Gan Lee Lee.

Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent Anniversary

President Emily Kong, Ave Maria Convent Leo Advisor N. Rathakrishnan and Ln P. Vellupilai attended Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent 37th Anniversary at Mother Pauline Hall SMJK Ave Maria Convent Ipoh.

The theme for the anniversary was 'I'm Hungry'.

President Emily Kong was the guest of honour at this anniversary.

LCIH 52nd Anniversary Celebration

The LCIH held its 52nd anniversary celebrations. It was carried out in a small scale with 70 attendees at the mezzanine floor of the Ipoh City & Country Club.

The Guest of Honour was District Governor Douglas Oh who inducted our member Khairol Izam.

The 2nd VDG William Lim was also in attendance.

There was a cake cutting ceremony attended by Past Presidents of the club.

After the function the members adjourned to the karaoke upstairs.

Charity Family Walk

The Charity Family Walk was a roaring success. We had more than 300 participants of which about 80 were our own Leos.

All the participants enjoyed themselves. Breakfast was served to everyone after the walk.

Thereafter certificates of achievement were presented to all those who completed the walk in an hour.

Best of all we together with ICCC raised more than RM10,000.00 for the Ray of Hope.

Presentation of Wheelchair

The LCIH also presented a wheelchair to Mdm Zalmiah at her home in Kampung Kepayang.

Presentation of Wheelchair

The LCIH presented a wheelchair to an ex-army veteran Mr. Othman at his home in Taman Kinta, Gopeng.

Leo Club of Main Convent Ipoh 1st Meeting for 2018

Leo Quiz for Region 4&5.

LCIH 3rd Vice President R .Jeyasingam, Secretary Evonne Chen and P. Velupillai attended the Leo Quiz for Region 4 & 5 at the Ipoh Lions Center. Leo Club of St. Michaels emerged as the champions.

Donation of Biscuits

LCIH dropped by the Salvation Army Boys Home in Tambun and donated 6 tins of biscuits to the boys at the home. 

On hand to receive the Lions were Capt Nigel Henry and some boys.

Sight First Project

The LCIH completed round 2 of the Sight First project when it presented spectacles to 18 deserving students of SJKC Hing Hwa.

The club had earlier carried an eye screening project for all the students in October last year.

X-mas 2017

LCIH wrap up 2017 with a meaningful Christmas event at Good Shepherd Family Home Ipoh.

30 children from Emmanuel Praise Home and Good Shepherd home were entertained to a X'mas lunch by LCIH.

On hand to assist LCIH were the junior choir from St Michaels church together with santa clause.

Handing Over of SMK Anderson Toilet

5 Lions led by President Emily Kong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Tamer Hari Singh, Wilson Wong and P. Velupillai together with 3 Leos of SMK Anderson attended the handing over of SMK Anderson toilet which had been sponsored by LCIH. The SMK Anderson Principle witnesseth the handing over on behalf of the school.
