Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent AGM

The Leo Club of Ave Maria Convent held their AGM at their school. 

Lions present were Leo Advisor N. Rathakrishnan and President Emily Kong.

Leo Club of Anderson AGM

Leo Club of Anderson (LOA) held their AGM at their school today.

LOA Leo Advisor Wilson Wong and LCIH Leo Advisor Team Leader PP T. Sriskanda attended the meeting.

Presentation of Flower Pots and Plants

LCIH carried out a presentation of flower pots and plants at the former school of President Emily Kong, SMK Seri Intan. It also happen to be her final project as President of LCIH for 2017/18.

There to support her were 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua, Club Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip, Leong Chyi Liang, N. Rathakrishnan and P. Velupillai.

Engaging with Orang Asli Student Project

81 students from SK Ulu Geruntum, Gopeng received a new set of shoes, socks, stationaries, biscuits and nutritious drinks from LCIH today.

The children were also treated to a Marrybrown meal.

Lions present were President Emily Kong, Treasurer Lakhmer Singh, Club Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip, Hari Singh, Leong Chyi Liang, Eugene Ong and N. Rathakrishnan together with 14 Leos from Leo Club of Idris Shah and their Teacher Advisor.

57th MD convention committee meeting

57th Multiple District convention committee meeting at Ipoh Lions Center at AEON Big Falim was attended by President Emily Kong dan Club Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda.

Donation of Flower Pots and Plants

President Emily Kong, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip and P. Velupillai visited the SJK (C) Chung Tack Simee in Ipoh and donated flower pots and plants to the school.

President Emily Kong, OC Eugene Ong, 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua, Club Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Coordinator PP Peter Lip, Leong Chyi Liang, Wilson Wong Tan Shee Xiang and Tan Shee Foong attended the Soup Kitchen Project this week at Masjid Kpg Paloh, Ipoh.

90 food packets were distributed to children and adults.

37th Anniversary of Leo Club of Idris Shah

The Leo Club of Idris Shah celebrated their 37th Anniversary. It was a grand occasion witness by more than 100 Lions and Leos.

Hari Raya Celebration

LCIH celebrated Hari Raya with the children from Rumah Anak-Anak Yatim dan Miskin Nurul Iman, Manjoi.

Rehearsal of Leo Club of SIS Anniversary

PP T. Sriskanda attended the rehearsal of the 37th Anniversary of the Leo Club Idris Shah School, Gopeng to give some advice to the Leos.

Donation to a Ungku Omar Polytechnic student

LCIH donated RM2,000.00 to Thulasi Ram a student of Ungku Omar Polytechnic to part finance the purchase of a computer.

The project was carried out at Masjid Kpg Paloh, Ipoh. 85 food packets were distributed to children and adults by Lion members.

Fight Against Cancer Everyday

LCIH joined the members of the Leo Club of Anderson to visit the children at Pediatric Cancer Ward, Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh.

CPR Technique and Health Screening Projects

Nine Lion clubs in the district of Kinta organised the CPR Technique and Health Screening Projects at AEON Falim, Ipoh.

Lions Club of Ipoh Host was one of them.

It is a two day function.

The Lions who attended the opening ceremony were President Emily Kong, 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Secretary Evonne Chen, PP Peter Lip and PP Woo Ping.

Blood Donation Campaign

Held at Ground Floor Ipoh Parade, Ipoh.

The project has been successful carried out with the participation of the members from the Royal Malaysia Police, Raja Permaisuri Bainun General Hospital, KMC Medical Centre and Ipoh Parade.

350 pints of blood was collected.

About 70 people came.

4th n last regional Leo meeting for this term was held at Ipoh Lion Center.

It was attended by 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam and Wilson Wong.

Dialogue on Leo Matters

LCIH Leo advisors held a dialogue with cabinet officers together with the 1st Vice District Governor on ways and means to improve the Leos under the watch of LCIH.

The Lions present were President Emily Kong, 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Secretary Evonne Chen, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda,  Eugene Ong, Wilson Wong, P. Velupillai and N. Rathakrishnan.

Leo Clubs Charter Day

The big day came. The District Governor District 308 B2 was there. The 1st Vice District Governor and 2nd Vice District Governor were also in attendance. 

With all the top three cabinet officers present the Leos were indeed privilleged on this historic occasion.

This is the 156 project and activity for this term. Already a record for LCIH.

Charter Day Final Meeting

Charter day final meeting at Main Convent Hall, SMK Main Convent Ipoh.

The incoming Leos from Methodist Girls' School and Main Convent Ipoh had a meeting cum rehearsal with the members of the Lions Club of Ipoh Host.
