LCIH and Leo Club of Idris Shah at Pusat Kebajikan Orang Cacat, Gopeng

7 members from LCIH and 35 Leos from Leo Club of Idris Shah led by Leo President Dawson Chong together with their teacher advisor visited the Pusat Kebajikan Orang Cacat, Gopeng (Home for disabled people).

The Lions donated food rations while the Leos cleaned up the compound of the welfare home.

A fantastic turnout by the Leos. 35 out of 39 members turned up for this project.

The Lions present were President Emily Kong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda, Club LCIF Coordinator PP Peter Lip, Club Marketing Communication Chairperson V. Sreedaran Nair, Mohd Sayadi, N. Rathakrishnan and Khairol Izam.

Its fun to see how those Lions mentor this youngster (Leos) at their age now they need a role model to look out for. I believe your club are doing great with them. Thumbs up!

We must admit we weren't very active with our Leos until recently.

To b honest, theres a lot protocol like approval letter, consent letter.at first i think its too much(i am a sec) until the advisor explained it.i think our young mind didnt understand the important of it n take it for granted.thats where the advisor is needed to guide us and advise us.i hope all the leo will continue this journey n bcome a lion 1 day.by ur post n entry i belive ur leos is in a good hand.
