Festival of Light Cum Children's Day Celebration

300 Lions, Lioness, Leo, children, old folks and guest gathered at the Ipoh City and Country Club, Jalan Tuanku Bainun, Ipoh to attend the Festival of Light cum Children's Day Celebrations organised by the Lions Club of Ipoh Host, Lioness Club of Ipoh, together with Leo Club of Anderson, Idris Shah and Sam Tet.

Children and old folks from 13 homes were entertained to a sumptious lunch. While having lunch they were entertained by the Leos.

About 240 children and old folks were given ang-pows by the Lions Club of Ipoh Host.

This is the biggest function organised by LCIH in the last forty years according to senior Lions.

This project involved engaging the youth since the Leos were co-organisers of this meaningful project.

16 members from the club led by President Emily Kong attended the function.
