Soup Kitchen (Relieving the Hunger Project)

President Emily Kong, OC Eugene Ong, 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua, Club LCIF Chairperson PP Peter Lip and N. Rathakrishnan attended the Soup Kitchen Project this week at Masjid Kpg Paloh, Ipoh.

80 food packets were distributed to children and adults.

4th Zone Meeting

The 4th and final Zone Meeting for Region 13 and 14 was held at the Palace Restaurent on the 5th floor of the Excelsior Hotel. After the meeting there was a fellowship dinner.

2nd Committee Meeting for Charity Family Walk

The meeting was held at the Ipoh City and Country Club. The Lions who attended were President Emily Kong, OC Eugene Ong, Co- OC and 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua together with Membership Chairperson and ICCC Laison Chairman PP T. Sriskanda.

Presentation of Wheelchair

President Emily Kong, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda and N. Rathakrishnan together with members of Leo Club of Idris Shah presented a wheelchair to be use by inmates at Pusat Kebajikan Orang Cacat, Gopeng.

Leo Club of Idris Shah 1st Meeting for 2018

Held on 26th February, 2018 at SMK Idris Shah, Gopeng.

Attended by President Emily Kong, Membership Chairperson cum Leo Advisor PP T. Sriskanda and N. Rathakrishnan.

President Emily also presented Certificate of Appreciation to Leo Club of Idris Shah for their excellent participant in the project held at Pusat Kebajikan Orang Cacat, Gopeng on 31st January, 2018.

Lioness Club of Ipoh 41st Anniversary

3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Lioness Liasion PP Dr Martin and his lady, and PP Ho Choon Seng attended the 41st Anniversary of the Lioness Club of Ipoh at the Maharaj Restaurant, Jalan Raja Nazrin Shah, Ipoh.

Leo Quiz for Region 4&5.

LCIH 3rd Vice President R .Jeyasingam, Secretary Evonne Chen and P. Velupillai attended the Leo Quiz for Region 4 & 5 at the Ipoh Lions Center. Leo Club of St. Michaels emerged as the champions.

Chinese New Year Celebration

LCIH organized a Chinese New Year celebration for the children of Pertubuhan Kebajikan Kanak-Kanak Cacat Setia, Silibin.

LCIH treat the children with McDonand's burgers and drinks and angpow.

Lcih also donated five (5) bags of rice to the home.

85 food packets and drinks were distributed to the poor at the Paloh Mosque, Ipoh.

About 70 food packets were distributed to children and adults.

Presentation of cash aid and beddings for wheelchair bound M. Balakrishnan

LCIH presented a matress, bedsheets, pillow cases, pillows and towels to M. Balakrishnan who has had his right leg amputed.

LCIH also presented a cash aid of RM500.00 to M. Balakrishnan.
