Lioness Club of Ipoh 41st Anniversary

3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Lioness Liasion PP Dr Martin and his lady, and PP Ho Choon Seng attended the 41st Anniversary of the Lioness Club of Ipoh at the Maharaj Restaurant, Jalan Raja Nazrin Shah, Ipoh.

      Dear Syuan Yan,

      Lioness clubs were originally set up for the wives of the Lions club members, they were recognised by Lions International.

      In nineties, the Lioness were encouraged to become Lions and convert their Lioness clubs into Lions club.

      Soon Lions International stop recognising the Lioness clubs and the Lioness clubs are now only a programme of the Lions club.

      In District 308B2 there are only 3 or 4 Lioness clubs left. Lioness Club of Ipoh is one of them.
