Soup Kitchen (Relieving the Hunger Project)

The project was carried out at Masjid Kpg Paloh, Ipoh. 80 food packets were distributed to children and adults by Lion members.

Dialogue on Leo Matters

LCIH Leo advisors held a dialogue with cabinet officers together with the 1st Vice District Governor on ways and means to improve the Leos under the watch of LCIH.

The Lions present were President Emily Kong, 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam, Secretary Evonne Chen, Membership Chairperson PP T. Sriskanda,  Eugene Ong, Wilson Wong, P. Velupillai and N. Rathakrishnan.


Leo Clubs Charter Day

The big day came. The District Governor District 308 B2 was there. The 1st Vice District Governor and 2nd Vice District Governor were also in attendance. 

With all the top three cabinet officers present the Leos were indeed privilleged on this historic occasion.

This is the 156 project and activity for this term. Already a record for LCIH.

Charter Day Final Meeting

Charter day final meeting at Main Convent Hall, SMK Main Convent Ipoh.

The incoming Leos from Methodist Girls' School and Main Convent Ipoh had a meeting cum rehearsal with the members of the Lions Club of Ipoh Host.

75 food packets and drinks were distributed to the poor at the Paloh Mosque, Ipoh.

LCIH donated RM1,000.00 to MGS PIBG to support their Charity Band Dinner on 28th April, 2018.

On hand to receive the cheque was the Principle Madam Gan Lee Lee.

A visit to a sick member

CPR Technique Project

CPR training conducted by St Johns Ambulance Malaysia for Lions in Zone 13, 14 and 16.

Today was the first Sunday for such training. 

District Governor Douglas Oh was present at this project. 

Lions who attended were President Emily Kong, Henna Tan and N. Rathakrishnan.


Leo Talent Quest

Leo Talent Quest for Leo Clubs in Region 3 and 4 was held on Sunday at AEON Big Falim. It was organised by Leo Club of Sam Tet, Ave Maria Convent, St. Michael Institute and Poi Lam High School.

Members from various Leo clubs participated in the talent quest. The winner was from Leo Club of Sam Tet.

District Governor Douglas Oh was the Guest of Honour.

Tertiary Education Sponsorship

Treasurer Lakhmer Singh, 2nd Vice President Jimmy Chua, 3rd Vice President R. Jeyasingam and Eugene Ong presented a cheque of RM3,785.00 as tertiary education sponsorship for S. Thaveneswary who is a final year student at University Tunku Abdul Rahman studying Bachelor of Biotechnology.

She was unable to sit for her final exams on 23rd April, 2018 unless the sum of RM3,785.00 was paid.

Meeting with PDRM - Blood Donation

The LCIH is planning to carry out a blood donation project with the Royal Malaysian Police this month. 

LCIH held its first meeting with the police representative Inspector Leila at the Ipoh police headquarters.
